Had my first class and already learned so much about chess that otherwise i would have never known. Not only did the coach identify my faults but he helped me realise them on my own by guiding me through everything making me able to think for myself instead of just telling me straight up the solution which is by far the best and effective way to learn.

Group chess classes are so fun! I recommend doing these if you are just starting off because you get to play with others, which creates this super cool dynamic and makes the learning experience that much more awesome:). Plus, Allen is a great teacher and makes sure everyone gets involved in the learning process! 10/10

I had a group session with a few of my friends to learn a few new tricks as an intermediate chess player. I was worried because I didn’t think Allen was going to be able to answer my questions on time or focus on my personal weaknesses during a group discussion, but his coaching was extremely effective!! I didn’t expect to learn so much after one session, but I noticed my opening and endgame approach was already faster by the end of the session. He does a great job at breaking down the game and explaining patterns to look out for! I 100% recommend his class and I would definitely do it again!

Had my first meeting with Allen and he really motivates me to keep improving in chess. He's very helpful and attentive along with a great personality! If his chess skills aren't enough evidence to prove his greatness, he managed to help me get my first brilliant move during my second game under his supervision!:)

I 100% recommend allen, as this was my first official class with him and he has a very great approach on teaching. He quickly managed to pinpoint my weaknesses and immediately assigned me homework after the class to work on those specific things. Highly recommend him, going to take another class with him once i’ve finished the assigned homework!

In one course I learned so many advanced tactics. So now I think there is no hesitation I will subscribe to private lessons

So i did 1 hour of private coaching with Allen and i am shocked at how my game has changed with only 1 session! I took the session with him when i was a 350 rated player and 2 weeks later i am 493 rated. He gave me some great tips on how to read the board and leveraging my attack with forking or pinning tactics. 10/10 recommend and will be having another session with him soon!
